How to become a Member

There are some 1,300 homes in Otford Parish. At the last census, 53% had lived in the parish for over 20 years. In recent years, however, there has been a visible influx of new families entering the village. Our Society must respond to the needs of both the long-term and the newer, younger residents, providing support and enthusiasm for fresh, original ideas.

All Otford residents are considered to be members of the Society, but we would not be able to continue with our projects, campaigns and programme of events without financial support. In 2023 many Otford households made a donation towards this work, supplemented by income from some of our fundraising events. In order to carry out our programme of activities in 2024 we hope that this support will continue, and that every household will feel able to make a minimum donation of £10 towards our annual running costs.

We are asking everyone to set up an annual Standing Order in January using the following bank details:

Otford Society
30-98-97
83442563

Please give your surname as reference.

While a Standing Order will help us with budgeting, you may prefer to make a one off bank transfer or, even better, make a Paypal Giving donation using the link below. If you are a UK taxpayer we will in addition be able to claim Gift Aid on your donation.ford

Finally, if you would prefer to pay by cheque, please make it payable to ‘The Otford Society’ and send it to: The Treasurer, Otford Society, 18 Warham Road, Otford, Kent TN14 5PF.
Please be sure to include your name, address, telephone number and email address.
