    The meeting will be followed by refreshments and then what promises to be a fascinating talk by Roger Gough, Leader of Kent County Council and Councillor for Sevenoaks North & Darent Valley.

  • 1940s Society meeting

    Bob Ruffles will explore the background to the current tensions in Eastern Europe. He will also provide an update on the Fort Halstead Trust, of which he is Secretary. This is a free to view ZOOM meeting. Email if you’d like to join. It is hoped that face to face meetings will resume in July.

    To mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the Parish Council and Otford Society are joining forces to host this family event on the village green on the first day of the long anniversary weekend. There will be hog roasts, a full barbecue, and a drinks tent serving Kentish ales and Otford cider. Miss Vintage will be entertaining with songs from the era of the Queen’s accession.
